Hmm, I'd have a hard time calling this a fan character, because he is basically Neo-Metal Sonic from Sonic Heroes, but with a red and yellow color scheme, which looks cool. With the blue shoes he almost looks like a flame, which is blue on the bottom and turns yellow then red as it goes up. Well this character was made up by deviant user chaos-infection, and is actually an interesting little hodge podge figure.
I used Metal Sonic's head and torso, I made new spines in the neo-metal style the arms and legs are Knuckles', the shoes are Shadow's, and the hands are scratch built, for the skeleton I used wires for the fingers and toothpicks for the wrists. The shoulder pads are actually Sonic's ears, which I had left over from my Mighty custom. I love how this came out because I didn't need to use any paint apps on the arms and legs, meaning I can pose this guy all I want and not worry about scratching paint in the joints.
