A member of the Black Dragon Death Squad, Rock of the Buddha was the martial arts team's analog to The Thing. He had half his body comprised of a rocky substance as well as spikes jutting from his spinal column. Despite his armored form he was not completely protected; as Wolverine was able to find a weak spot under his arms. With one precise strike to his rib cage Rock of the Buddha crumbled into a pile of rocks.
