I'll be frank: I don't like Daken. However, unless its Gail Simone, comic writers aren't always going to fill teams exclusively with characters I do like. So I decided some times you've got to bite the bullet and make a character you're not crazy about. Actually, I guess this is the second Daken I've made, but the first was never really completed, so he donated parts to this new one. I know he's sometimes drawn with a more powerful build, but I'm basing basically all of my Dark Avengers on the picture of them all standing on stage together for the first time in Dark Avengers Assemble, and there he's very lithe looking. He's a human torch with a resculpted chest, his neck cut down, 2-Pack Wolverine hands, and ML6 Wolverine legs from the knee down. His claws are tooth picks, bent to shape, and I chose to make them much shorter than on my original one. His damaged unmasked head is a result of my dog getting hold of it, so I added more injuries and painted one eye red... just for fun I guess. I dunno, I already had, didn't want to waste it.
