So this one was inspired by what I saw on Tron Sector... people were making mask-less versions of Legacy characters. I intended to do the same! I headed downtown to look for loose figure parts to start practicing with, and MAYBE a few heads. When I I headed into the shop, they were just starting to process a lot of around 600 loose Star Wars figures. I stood around with the guys sorting it, helped sort a bit, looked to see if there was anything I wanted... and then there was this head. A really good head. Perfect. They didn't want to part with it til they were sure there was no body. A few weeks later, went in, no body. The owner gave me the head of the Droid Factory 2-Pack Corran Horn for FREE. YAY! Rinzler was on clearance for $4, so this is the cheapest custom I've done yet. I just wish the body plastic was white, so it would light up without being red underneath.
I wanted to do a dramatic headshot, but my camera is so horribly suck I tried about 50 shots and none of them came out clear. Oh well.
