First appearing in Captain America Annual #4 as Magneto's second incarnation of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants that team of supervillains later became independent of Magneto renaming themselves Mutant Force. Lifter's mutant ability enables him to lift heavy object by canceling the effect of gravity on them.
