I finally figured how to make the Neca Predator look better, after some serious thought and 3 different proto types this is what I came up with and took 2 days to complete it.
Here’s what I did:
I totally resprayed him after taking the armour off, then dry brushed etc using Citadel paints .The colours I used were Bleached Bone mixed with sunburst yellow to give him the true pasty look, then the darker areas I used Dark Angles Green, Orc Hide Green, Black & Goblin green. The washed in certain areas with Sepia Tone. This gave him the colour I wanted .Then I detailed him somewhat (the mottle spots were hardest to make look accurate) then a light gloss coat for the reptilian look. Then I added the material netting instead, I hope you like the netting idea please let me know if you don’t, it’s made from an old shower sponge lol. Then sculpted the cracked mask to a full mask, then dry brushed him. - Well I hope you like him I’ve been dying for a figure like these for years!
