Notes/About
Wow, my first actual customized figure! To start, I messed up this Cheap G.I. Joe figure on the 4th of July by sticking a morning glory in his gut, melting his chest and scorching his arms and legs. As soon as I saw this battle damaged contest, I just broke him out and got some sculpey and was ready to create. Luckily, when I cooked the sculpey, his limbs did not melt. Another issue I had with this dude was when I cooked the front part of his chest, it shrunk, and it's actually smaller than the back. It came out pretty good though, don' cha think?
Story
He was a newcomer to the US army and his name was Dave (Bad name huh?) and it was his first time out of the training grounds. Unfortunately, It was the exact day that some terrorists decided to attack the same camp that contained Dave. First, it was calm and soothing, then out of the blue, the terrorists run in guns blazing. In a matter of seconds, half of Daves' team was dead. As the rest of the crew was heading for the forest, where there is an evac point, in case of emergency. Dave stood there in shock, wondering what those terrorists are trying to do. What happened next was unbelievable. One of the assailants lifted up a big gun, it was a rocket launcher! The rocket was headed for the rest of the US soldiers. Without thinking, Dave ran and stood in the path of the Rocket, he thought that since he wouldn't last long anyway, that he might as well save their lives. He was in great pain and woke up only to find himself being air lifted to a nearby Hospital facility. There he saw the grateful faces of the people he saved. And then he noticed he had no right arm, or foot, and he lifted the blanket on top of him and saw the bloody indent of where the rocket hit. Dave was later given an award due to his action, and at that time, they had replaced his lost limbs with prosthetic ones.
