M / Monet Custom Action Figure

Custom #:2835
Name:M / Monet
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:Wings
Date Added:June 5, 2007
Base Figure:ML14 Psylocke
Height:5.50 inches
Another Generation X member, Monet has always been my fave female on the team, especially in the current X-Factor title. I wanted her to match with Skin and Chamber though so I put her in her original Gen X duds. Really simple repaint with an elastic band and screw cover for the belt and Darice Foamy for the boots. I sculpted the forearm armour with Apoxie and tried to stick with the original bulkier look. With Psylocke being shorter she's in pretty good scale too. My camera is on it's way out again so apologies for the not so great pics. Up next, Synch!

As awful an accent as it was, the Banshee character was pretty true to form as was Emma. Jubes was a lil more hardcore (which I liked) but most of the others peed me off. Was still good for a one off tv movie and sure it coulda got better with some fleshing out. I always think of the Leader from Hulk when Matt Frewer says anything, EVER
And yeah, Layla is the butterfly chick who's set for big things. Could be a good future custom (once I get the next ten out of the way and finished )

Ah yeah the little blonde girl that seems to know past present and future events?
I liked that Gen X flick - Matt Frewer shouldve been cast as The Joker at some point - guys great as a nutty badguy
But yeah it was a cheesy movie - entertaining tho
the was a rumour that patrick swayze was going to star in an ep as...wait for it...LOGAN
but the series never got picked up
Compared to the live action Justice League tv pilot - Generation X pilot was GOLD
the lady who played Emma Frost was really pretty too

Another gal who 'knows everything' and is the comic relief in the books. The early Gen X comics were great but started to get a bit to kiddified. I have the Gen X movie on VHS from an ex rental shop. Cheesy but so good

oh yeah I remember her from the Gen X tv pilot
havent read the comics tho
I read some of the civil war x factor stuff but she had lost her powers hadnt she?
which ones layla miller?

In a word, she's "perfect". Flight, strength, smarts and psychic. What more could a guy ask for? She's currently in X-Factor and shares all the best scenes with Layla Miller - it's quality stuff

Cheers guys. Think all the Gen X Kids have been the easiest so far except Chamber. I'm sure Penance will see to that though
