Dug out my Spawn movie figures the other day and just decided to improve Spawn a bit by making him a custom cape. It was interesting to make. I found a perfect material from Hobby Lobby that already looked like a weathered red cloth. I added to it by burning a few holes and burning the edges to give it that straight-out-of-hell look. I also added a few gold highlights to give it a "slight" shimmer.
The collar is made completely out of epoxy. I molded a brace with the collar to fit Spawn's shoulders, painted the whole thing red (with a bit of black dry-brushed on) and glued the rest of the cape to it, pleating the ends on to the brace, nearest to the skulls on Spawn's chest.
