If you're getting old like me, then you may remember the short-lived but insanely awesome Super Joe toyline from the 70's. I LOVED this line when I was a kid, and was disappointed to discover as an adult that it is pretty much impossible to find these toys in one piece these days due to the material Hasbro used to hold the joints together! So I bought a bunch of broken ones (which are still difficult to find) and set about trying to build myself a custom set. For the Commander here, I used a Flatt World Bela Lugosi figure for the body, and sculpted/painted an obelisk where his neck should be to post the old school head onto using Aves apoxie. His hands were painted to match the head and the rest are vintage parts and soft goods to complete the illusion. It looks really great and the Flatt World body has an excellent range of motion! Bela Lugosi's hands are very bestial and it makes the Commander look as if he is sporting claws, which I think is very cool...also he is wearing Dracula's ring. I think somewhere during one of his adventures the Commander somehow literally got his hands on Dracula's ring, and now he wears it as a trophy and good luck charm.
