I was disappointed when Kotobukiya never released an Albel figure to go with Fayt, Cliff, and Nel which is a bummer to an Albel girl like me, but when I saw this figure I knew he'd make a great Albel Nox!
The first thing I did was restyle the hair added braids made from cord painted with added hair to their ends. Also I cut off the eyebrow ring and repainted his eyebrows. Then I repainted the eyes red and sealed it. Next I cut the girdle piece from felt painted it and added some detail to it with yellow tassels, and a red ribbon tie. I then sewed real material gloves, thigh boots, midriff shirt, and skirt with gold ribbon edges. The hard part was making a claw for his right arm which was done with metallic silver cardboard repainted, piece by piece then his hands were painted purple and sealed. The shoulder guards I got off a Gambit figure and repainted, and the over-sized metal choker was made from the metallic cardboard with real chain added. His shoes are repainted ken shoes with painted cardboard added and glued into place. I used his original box and added a pic and star ocean design to it, and done!
Overall Albel came out great the only thing he's missing is a 1/6 scale katana blade, oh well. :-)

Awesome work, Rogue!
I've browsed through your gallery several times...don't know how I missed this one...
I'm very tempted to give a Monster High doll a customizing treatment...just need to come up with the right character.
