Go ez on me. It's my first time. lol. I've been collecting figures for about 10 years. Now I have reached the point where I have collected everything available. So it's wait 'til they make it, pay a ton of money (deservedly so) to a real customizer, or do the best I can. My wallet and patience said to try my best. So here is my first attempt. Spider-man is my favorite character and I love his different suits along with their different functions. I have wanted the suit Peter made at Horizon Labs since reading about it in Big Time. I bought a black suited Spider-man figure and set him on the shelf as I gathered the courage to alter it. I used some black paint to cover up the white on his chest and back. Then I free handed some fluorescent red for that protection from Hobgoblin's laugh. :-) And voila. Now I don't claim to be any good at this but I am really happy to have this guy on the shelf and I am very excited to do more. I just wanted to share my experience with everyone who wants an unavailable figure but can't afford the super sweet customs that are out there. I say go for it DIY style. Feel free to comment. And keep on building!
