Me again!
In my zeal to get that head for my Chris Reeve Superman, I forgot about my rule about not wasting stuff. SOOO I didn't want that cool NK Superman body to go to waste! I took the head of a DC Direct Superman from the Origins line and cut off his hair. I shaved it down with an X-Acto to get a clean scalp, then popped it on the NK Supes body.
Next, I sculpted his head in the style of Zod from the Superman II film. I then sculpted ALL over the WHOLE body, adding puffy sleeves, shirt, the collar and suit lining, puffy pants and those thigh-high 70's DISCO boots!
I sprayed him flat black, then did a very, very, very light dry brush of flat aluminum all over to give the suit that reflective look. Basically a dusting. For the collar, lining,and boots, I added a little extra flat aluminum, and then clear coat red. After several coats, you see the effect and I think it came out pretty cool.
