That is a wicked looking repaint, definitely an improvement over the plain gray and tan on the original fig. Amazing the details that can be brought out with a good paint job. Very nice!
I am stoked about the gunarm! I loved the cartoon but never got he turned into a gun? Given size strength comparison to Optimus a big rig makes sense! Great paint effects! Totally makes me want to pick one up!
I'm sure in the coming months we're going to be seeing a TON of customs of this guy into Nemesis. I'm not sure how good teal is going on to look this mold, but I guess I'll find out. This is the form he takes in the movie that comes out in July. I actually don't mind it. Of all the damage they've done to Transformers good name with the movies, making Megatron into a Mad Max style tanker truck is the least of it as far as I'm concerned. At least he finally has a cannon attached to his arm. Heres the other pics I said I'd add:
he looks very awesome and hardcore but why does he have wheels? Maybe he's in a comic or something thAt I never read. I know megatron as being a gun and some random thing from the newer series but I didn't think he was a car or truck. I would buy that figure though. It looks more like a very nice model than a toy.
Good job, the weapon is cleverly disguised, not separate. He resembles nemesis prime, megatron is optimus's evil brother, Nemesis is optimus's opposite.
