Hobie brown was a down-on-his-luck inventor, who decided to use his gadgets for personal gain. After a run-in with spider-man, he decided to go straight. He joined silver sable's outlaws team, alongside former Spidey foes rocket racer and puma.
this is another old figure of mine that i recently repainted. I didn't want the costume to look skin-tight, but more baggy, like John Romita used to draw him. I used dr strange for the torso, arms, and lower legs, and Dr. Octopus for the upper legs and forearms. The head is spider-man, and the gloves are from venom. The gauntlets are from black widow, and the upper boots are made from various items. Finally the cape is made from a thin latex glove. The material was perfect, because it billows just like a cape should!
