Following on the heals of my Gauntlet Rocksteady comes Gauntlet Leatherhead, with alternate colors inspired by his appearance in The Gauntlet stage in the Genesis/Mega Drive game, Hyperstone Heist.
I wanted to make him look more like the actual Leatherhead than the squat thing we got from Playmates, so using an idea I borrowed from my friend Sarah, I used a Bebop body. Arms and legs came from Rocksteady, and the head and tail came from good ol' LH himself.
I had resculpted the teeth hoping to make him look more fearsome, but I feel it ended up making him more goofy instead. Belt's from Splinter plus some sculpting, and the knife (because he tosses 'em in the game) is from a Foot Soldier.
