This is number 2 in my series of Earth-2 Superman fan fiction. The Son of Lightning, aka Lightning Master II, is the son of the classic 1940's Superman foe, the Lightning Master. I created this character and set him against the Earth-2 Superman during the period from the 1950's to the 1960's.
This figure was really simple to do. I first removed the Psycho-Pirate's cape and made up a batch of Milliput to fill in the grooves left in his back and on his shoulders. Additionally, I used milliput to create the boots and gloves. Using my Dremel, I sanded the areas that had been enhanced by the Milliput till they were smooth, and then used the boil and pop method to temporarily remove the head. Next, I gave the figure a full head to toe repaint in green and black. Once the paint was dry, I reattached the head and glued on two hand drawn lightning bolts to his upper chest (what made the lightning bolts different from previous symbols I had done for other figures is that after coloring them in I applied a piece of glossy Scotch Tape to each one before glueing them in place to give them a glossy, raised feel), and TA-DA...the Son of Lightning, aka Lightning Master II!!!!
