Armstrong Custom Action Figure

Custom #:30130
Name:Armstrong
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Valiant
Creator:loosecollector
Date Added:June 9, 2011
Base Figure:Marv
Height:7.00 inches
Adding up another Valiant character. This is jolly 'ol Armstrong sans the "jolly" part. The challenge was make a fat dude look powerful and imposing, so we ended up chopping-up Marv and Kingpin. All other parts are sculpted detail. More pics can be seen inside the thread. The black-background one shows the colors better and the white ones show the figure more. Hope you like him guys! God bless.

Solid stuff as always! Great choice on the cranium, it really pushes the realism factor! I just wish I could get my hands on one marv figure let alone the handful you have gotten a hold of!

This looks In-freakin-credible Dave! When I was asked to do Gilad for a friend, I really liked the Longshot head you used on yours. I also plan to do Bloodshot and a coulpe others inspired by your's. I gotta ask, just because it's killin me to know, did you check out my armstrong before you did this? I'm sure it's a only a pipedream, but it would be huge for me to know that one of the best in the world got an idea from little ole me. Even if you have never seen it, it's totally o.k. to lie and say you thought it didn't completely suck. Again, this rocks. T

Thank you brother. I have seen almost all Armstrong customs in the web and I surely saw yours. It was inspiring and played a HUGE role in realizing that Marv will work as the base. It was ingenious and I thank you for the inspiration. Let it be known to all... OJJ, never little in anyway, came up with the Marv idea for us and he never sucked in my book... ever .
