One of my favorite Lantern story lines was with the Red Lanterns. I wanted to make this Lantern more "alien" like so I decided to create this one where he breathes through the small hole membranes on the hump of his back. Again, like my other Green Lantern design I wanted to push things a little bit more than the regular humanoid structure.
I took the DC Universe Red Lantern Nite-lik and carved away at it's face to make it smaller and sculpted over it with a compound of firm and regular sculpey and then painted it with acrylics and a sealant and TA-DAAA! A more Cthulhu like Lantern! Enjoy!-REBNOR
