I had a spare Hal and struggled over which to make him into: Orange Lantern, or Sinestro Corpsman. Luckily, a compromised arrived just in time in the form of Green Lantern: Emerald Warriors issue 10, in which Hal wears both rings simultaneously! So I set out to work.
This wasn't as easy as I had anticipated, as I hadn't realized how different the Orange and Yellow Lantern uniforms were from the Green, and we never really got any good, clear looks at the entire pastiche uniform, either. It took a lot of painting and I had to fudge some details and scales in order to get things to work on a figure like this. Arm braces were sculpted using Mighty Putty and as always, the logo was artlessly rendered on paper then pasted onto the chest. The orange and yellow Iron Man blasts are just for photos and aren't part of the piece as it will display.
I realized just before shooting that the Sinestro Corps side had some sort of armband on, so I hurriedly splotched that on. As a result it looks a bit messy... I'll have to even that out a bit later.
