Here we go guys. This batman was built with a Survival suit Bruce Wayne, with head and belt off of an old Batman Returns gumball/nugget dispenser (bought a whole case of them). I have done this figure a few times over the years with the same head but the older DC Superheroes/DC Universe bodies are too bulky no matter how much you shave them down. The sculpting, though minimal is done in ApoxieSculpt. The neck piece is sculpted on with Apoxie as well as the shinguards and gauntlets. The spires on the gauntlets were removed and I dug a notch to re-insert new ones made of styrene. The Emblem is a cut vinyl piece that I did at a sign-shop years ago. The cape as always is done as a "Pull-Through" that actually is more of a cinch-job. The cape is pulled in over the front of the shoulders and inserted into the body after the cowl/neck is sculpted on and routered out. After the figure is assembled I give it a wet-wash of black to bring some shadow to the finer details in the face/belt. Once it's all seemingly complete I got in really close and colored and detailed the eyes… Definitely one of my favorites.
