I know this isn't the first Samus, or the best, but she's my latest creation and will stand as the pride of my collection! I drew inspiration from Batman1016's Samus figure, though mine is made on the 3.75 inch scale and uses polymer clay and acrylics instead of epoxy and metallic paint, I operate on a pretty low budget. The helmet is actually a scratch build, a little ball of foil covered in clay, and though it won't fall off even if you hold the figure upside down and shake it, it's still pretty easy to just pull it off...but that can be a bonus, if I want I can paint Jean's hair blonde and incorporate a head swap gimmick. The figure maintains pretty much all of its original articulation, but she never was flexible enough to take on those "on one knee" poses that Samus is so famous for on the box art of her games, but I won't hold it against her because she's pretty much the lowest price point you can find and what she CAN do more than makes up for what she can't.
Always great to see some Samus love! Good work for the scale!
