The easy summary is that Bilbo here was built on a wire armature. His hands, feet, and especially the head are all scratch sculpted from Super Sculpey. The outfit is comprised of cloth and leather.The legs could be a bit shorter and fatter, but it was my first armature figure ever so I can live with it! Thanks for looking!

Thanks Gang! I truly appreciate all the feedback. Wish I could get some bids on it. If it doesn't sell, I'll re-work it to have a more appropriate body and shorter legs. Also considering making some other animated figures...maybe The Last Unicorn - some crazy concepts in that one! Or the Gandalf to go with this Bilbo!

I hope it does sell, if not look forward to your reworking. I love the cartoons you are picking (or animation movies), the last unicorn idea is totally awesome, one of my favs. I would also like to see gandalf and some dwarves, keep up the great work.

That is so cool. I wish I could build up the courage to do a scratch build that involved. Question: When he walks, does it look like his hip is broken? Cause then he'd be really accurate to the animated film.
