Used a Bub body and a Dunny head... I shaved off the sides of 2 Dunny arms for the eyes and the rest of the face is sculpted with vinyl bits from a few chopped up Dunny heads and bodies. The teeth were wings on some random, vinyl, blind box figure which I reworked with an x-acto
I glued a base layer of cheesecloth onto the body and back of the head, then glued on picked-off bits of wool felt. Painted with a mix Tamiya black, white, and a little pink and blue (for a hint of a hint of purple in the mix)...
So the wool felt won't stick on the body without the cheese cloth? May I ask what brand of glue you used to glue the felt on? I'm inspired to try a similar thing in 1/6 scale.
The cheesecloth is ideal for two reasons. The first reason is because it is so thin that it can give to any shape you are gluing it to, as well as working into tight crevices. The second reason is because I ripped the wool felt off of the fabric it came on, so when I glued that onto Frank the cheesecloth became the new fabric for it to stick to.
As far as glue, the cheesecloth was glued down with super glue, and for the wool felt I used a standard craft glue (which I used all of, so I no longer have the bottle, but I do remember that the bottle was gold-colored and I got it at Joann Fabrics).
Hope that helps!
