cap marvel is the perfect base for warlock.
this is one great example.

I've seen this from somewhere... was this ever posted at the PTK forums?

That's a picture of a glossy statue in the background. I'll relent on it though for the sake of civility, as well as the fact that the figure was incredibly well done.

I agree, that pic in the background definitely shows shinyness and the overall figure is fantastic!

Look at the 2nd pic in the gallery. The image (I assume) he was working from is in the background.
It appears to me, in that pic, the costume has a shine to it.
Very nice job.

Not to be too argumentative, because the fig indeed kicks much butt, but since when is Adam Warlock's torso shiny in the comics? All I could find were pictures like these. (Mind you, for all I know there's been something recent in the comics where an artist -has- been drawing him as being shiny, but I can't seem to find anything)

I actually like the shiny look to the torso - it's very accurate to the source material you have there. Beautiful fig too - KUDOS!

Great work! This is one figure Toybiz should have made years ago!

Great work on well, everything! The only thing I'd suggest is using matte to finish the fig to give it a less glossy look.
