I've always had a soft spot for the Subs, if only because I knew that, even if I gained super powers, I'd end up in the Substitutes. Here's CK, originally drawn by John Forte and fattened up by Keith Giffen. He's modded from a fast food Pocahontas Governor. I wrapped his body in strips of cloth to get the shape, with plastic rings at the cuffs. Then I layered on brown coffee filter paper. The treetop collar is sliced from a CD sleeve. The leaves are plastic from a craft store. The seed pouches are, appropriately, half-kernels of popcorn. Chamois cloth finishes his buskin shoes. The goofy space plant is a plastic plant with cotton tufts.
