Indiana Jones | Battle Damaged Custom Action Figure

Custom #:31148
Name:Indiana Jones | Battle Damaged
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Indiana Jones
Creator:GeekSummit
Date Added:July 18, 2011
Base Figure:IJ basic figure
Height:3.75 inches
The IJ line was pretty weak as far as being complete. They had a lot of movies to address and really just kinda scattershot here and there until everyone lost interest completely. Wave 4 got released sparingly but can be obtained very easily from China (wink). We never got our Indiana Jones as he appears at some point in every movie… All Beat to S#|+!!!. Here I took the IJ figure with whipping action and lopped the arms off and then took the standard figure and swapped in the arms and head and re-attached the lower legs and proper belt (not the one with the HUGE holster) and then I proceeded to weather him a little bit. Fine point burgundy Sharpie (oxidized blood) laid in the bloody nose and mouth.. NOT TOO MUCH!!! then I took an Exacto and made some thin slices into the chest. Then I went back over with red Sharpie (fresh wound) and VIOLA Low Down Dirty Jones. I also have a HUGE line of these guys that I have tinkered with. I hadn't even gotten any shots of them yet but Just wait. I'll be dropping these in two a day until they are all out there. I also have some custom crates for our revered relic from Raiders of the Lost Ark. You can actually fit the Ark in them.. I dig it.

I mainly try to stick to revisions and improvements on failed lines like these. A 6 inch series WOULD be ambitious and no doubt awesome. I really go out I'n a limb for my personal satisfaction for the most part. That's why I'm digging the Superman Movie series so much.

One of my favorite movie series of all time & I don't own a a single figure from it because they don't look awesome like this & I don't like that scale. You should make a 6 inch scale also. Keep on inspiring us with your custom sir!

I tried to stay away from those that ended up getting produced but I do have some nice ones coming up for sure. These things were $1 a piece by the time I got into them… so needless to say I came up with a quite a few variations.
