BATMAN RETURNS - Michael Keaton Custom Action Figure

Custom #:31741
Name:BATMAN RETURNS - Michael Keaton
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Batman - Movie Style
Creator:matthancock
Date Added:August 9, 2011
Base Figure:ML Bullseye
Height:6.50 inches
ML Bullseye really is the best base for a super-articulated Batman movie figure. I used one for my Batman '89 custom as well. The entire torso is sculpted and I managed to retain the "bend back" articulation at the ab crunch. The shin guards, gloves, ankle guards and all are there as well. I wanted to separate this from any other 6-inch Batman movie figure by having a completely removable cowl. The entire thing is sculpted from Aves Apoxie Sculpt and is completely removable with the inside hollowed out. I'm in the process of sculpting the unmasked Keaton head to go along with it and will show it when it's done. The cape is 5-piece pleather stitched together and glued only to the neck. The Bat symbol is also sculpted and raised like the movie (rather than painted on like my last one). My son says this is the best figure I've ever done and...well I think I agree. Thanks for looking!

You knocked this one out of the park! This is a great Keaton Bats! Your costume detailing are fantastic, and I think the cowl/neak/head needs to be one piece just like the real costume. A Keaton Batman custom just doesn't work when someone articulates the head from the neck with the mask.
Fantastic work!

hey nice recipe! I'm looking for a bullseye because I wanna make a batman too, I thought I was the only one whit the idea but it seems I wasn't

GO FOR IT!!! The only thing I found with using Bullseye was that his head was a little too big for this one. It's sad because he has that scowl on his face that's perfect for a Keaton Bats. Look forward to seeing what you come up with. I originally got the idea to use Bullseye from Matt "Iron Cow" Cauley several years ago. Thanks for the feedback!

It will be available VERY soon so keep your eyes peeled. Gotta finish the unmasked head to go with it first (2 days tops). And thanks for the comments bro. I think the cowl, in general, is much better than the one on my Batman '89 custom. Thanks again!
