This is kind of a work in progress. It is as done as I can do with out some ideas from you guys. This was a DC Direct first appearance Robin I chopped off the arms and legs. Chopped off the gloves and boots and tried to make it hover in the air using clear ML stands. There is also a display case that is not shown here. So any ideas lets have them

This is cool. I have always liked this idea. Almost like a museum piece paperweight. Maybe paint the cut off arms black or shadow or sumsuch though. How about gluing the boots to the base, gluing the body to the back of the glass case, and using a piece of black wire to hang the mask?

I have thought about that but as the cape is cloth it wouldn't hold well. and the other problem as in most of the reference shots it is in the middle of the room and seems to hang as if by magic suspended from all sides which screams clear manikin or magic or fishing line But I will definitely glue the boots to the base once I have this solved on how to make it look more floating. the wire idea for the mask is a good one too.

that's the trick as soon as I can figure a better way to give that invisible floating look that the suit has in ever comic it shows up in.

I like this a lot!!!! My only suggestion is that a clear manikin head underneath the mask would look really nice. Maybe a ML Iceman with a little acetone to remove the clear blue paint on him.
