Well it feels like forever since my last submission, I thought/hoped I'd have lots of customizing time this summer but I hadn't planned on the 10,000 jobs my wife would create. Anyhoo, here's the next in my MOTU Line it's the cosmic enforcer Zodak. I couldn't get one of his staffs in time so I just created this one, he is known to use many other weapons anyway. The gun is a nod to the vintage Zodak.
Recipe
Head = 200x Zodak - dremmel to fit.
Helmet = 200x Zodak.
Torso = DCUC Guy Gardner.
Chest plate and backpack = 200x Zodak
Upper Arms = DCUC Guy Gardner.
Lower Arms and hands = DCUC Batman.
Arm Armour = 200x Zodak - hollowed out then simply slid over batman arms.
Emblems on hands = 200x Zodak, sliced off then dremmeled to a thin piece.
Loin Cloth = 200x Zodak
crotch and Upper legs = DCUC Guy Gardner
Lower legs = DCUC Batman and 200x Zodak grafted to fit.
Feets = DCUC Batman, resculpted the details.
Staff/ sword = Lego Bionicle for the blade and some unknown missile for the handle.
Gun = Power Rangers, one of the newer ones??
Paints = Games workshop
Sealant = Loctite brush on superglue and Games Workshop Satin Varnish purity seal.
Still got a few more planned for my MOTU line and I'm determined to get another one done this summer, not sure who yet.
*BEST ZODAK EVER. Can't wait to see your take on BEAST-MAN.
Base coat = Scorched Brown, 1st drybrush = Bestial Brown, 2nd drybrush = Calthan brown, 3rd detail drybrush = Khemri brown. The last two are actually Foundation colours so they have a different consistency (kinda chalky) but they still work.
I think four shades is where the magic happens for me, I'd say three as an absolute minimum.
