I wanted this Cap to have a more militaristic feel, so I went with a green suit, battlefield appropriate. World War Captain America was made from a DCUC body with a Alan Scott head and random fodder for the rest. Peg holes filled and fully repainted.

Love this figure! having served in the US ARMY(desert storm vet) and being around classic ARMY vehicles, the old olive drab colors with a big white, weathered star on the side of the doors, hood or wherever would have looked good as being an alternative shield for this figure along with the one you deisgned. The green you used suits a Captain America who is in the field for combat operations instead of the bright red, white and blue colors

Yes, it is an Alan Scott head and yes his suit is green. I should have been more descriptive, I wanted this Cap to have a more militaristic look. The concept was World at War Captain America.Thanks for looking.

I really like the subdued/somber colors on the figure, haven't ever seen Cap done like that--it would have been cool if you had painted the shield to match, as the brighter colors clash.
