I had received this guy in a bulk lot of figures. His paint was worn, the silver on the eyes was almost non visible. I actually like the original sculpt of the Spider-Man movie Venom, however, I really dislike the gray scale faded colors they went with. One of the many side effects to the way they crammed him into the third movie. In my opinion, Venom is a popular enough character to carry a trilogy of movies on his own without the presence of Spider-Man, but let's leave that debate for another website. What bothered me the most was the awful pale pinkish-rouge that they colored his mouth and tongue with. Well, pulling from suggestions from movie critics, and my own senses, I repainted him with Model Master Paint. I used enamel (because I bought enamel by mistake instead of acryl) Guard red on his mouth and tongue. I used Model Master Acryl Gloss White on his teeth, eyes, and Venom chest symbol. I then applied Model Master Gloss Lacquer Overcoat to him, and I am really happy with how it turned out, so I am sharing him with this site before he is out of my hands. He sort of resembles the 4" Marvel Legends Showdown Venom, which I think is an amazing figure, in a Marvel Legend scale.
