I'M NOT GONNA SHOOT YOU BETWEEN THE EYES JOHN. I'M GONNA SHOOT YOU BETWEEN THE So I present to you, Ex-captain Bennett. With Commando in the display case, I realized I was missing what every good hero needs. Theme music, no, the villian. Duke Nuke em base with a John Cena head modded to slightly resemble Vernon Wells. (maybe, just a little?) Cargo net kinda shirt thing is a knee high stocking, (thanks wifey for that idea, and for coming with me to buy it) I plumped up the mid section of the base fig and made the holster, sheath and yes, another knife.
What I learned: not being very artistic, I quickly realized how hard it is to sculpt a real human face from a photo. I think I got a few key features on there though.

I only vagely remember him from the movie(been a long time since I saw it) but to me he looks very much like the dude from the movie,great job on the head and sculpts all around! I have seen the duke nukem figure and was curious about how his shoulder to bicep joint works. very cool great job!

Thanks buddy. Yeah, the Duke fig. has great detail to it but that joint is the single weak point. It's a hinge, so you have to manipulate the shoulder ball as well to pose the arms. When striaght, they sit at a 45 degree angle to the body, so no "hands at your sides" position. Other than that, it's a great sculpt with awesome boots. Later...
