Holy cow figure realmers! I'm the proud new papa of Speedball! I think it's safe to assume Hasbro won't be making a figure of someone who's name can be associated with drugs so it's custom or nothing for him. I see the possibility of a Penance figure if the new MLs can hang on, but I digress. The Civil War is one of the only stories that I am collecting and actually keeping forever. Most books I just read and donate or pass on. But the Civil War was just too awesome to read once. I really liked the Darth Vader-ian aspects of Robbie Baldwin's part in the tale. And now I have him on the shelf! His look is sort of my own conceptualization based on my skill and personal preference. I took a Human Torch and removed all the flames (fodder bin magic for something else down the road i'm sure). Then I filled in the flame holes with Aves and dremeled the bumps and glue off. Then it was time to make some goggles out of Aves and little bits of the aforementioned flames. After that just painted up to look like my vision of Speedball circa the Civil War.
