I've been in An AVP mood as of late and after making my city hunter predator I wanted to do an updated version of A colonial marine from aliens. I've always been A huge fan of the military design of the uniform seen in the movie and how could you not like the pulse rifle. So i got both versions of the mcfarlane hicks figure and always though the figure was just ok but had A very wonky leg pose. so to make him first replaced the head with A commander shepard figure and repainted the face. I then added the helmet from the exclusive figure and added some decals stuff to it similar to hudson's from aliens. next I added to the body armor so accessories and pouches and then painted some new decals on alsosimilar to hudsons. I then used the hands of neca's rios and then began the main part of the project. I removed the lower body of hicks and dremeled the waist off until it was the belt and the crouch gaurd. I then used the legs of A NECA sam fisher and repainted them. I then added the lower legs of the hicks figure on and then added A bunch of accessories to him.
