Ocean Master Custom Action Figure

This is Aquaman's arch enemy and half-brother, Orm the Ocean Master. He was made from a Ninja Batman from Mattel's first attempts at Batman. The articulation is minimal (no elbow joint) but I thought the look of the figure caught Orm's character. The head is the alternate Deadpool head with a beard sculpted on it. I just loved the grin on his face. I thought it made the character look a little insane. After all, aren't most villains a little wacko?? The helmet was made from some old Toybiz figures helmet (I can't remember which one) with the wings from one of Batman's gloves used for the pointy top. I also sculted the bottom edges of the helmet to give the front a little pointy look but that's hard to see in the pictures. The cape came from a Shadow figure and I scoured my Hobby shop trying to find a blue to match it! The "spear" was made from an old Aquaman trident. I cut the tip off and sculpted the oval shape onto the handle. I wasn't very happy with the end result initially, but after I painted it, it didn't look that bad.
