A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...
Darth Vader has usurped the throne of Emperor Palatine, the failed revival of Padme had pushed him to his limit, but he has discovered that she had left him an heir. A young boy named Luke, a boy who has been under the protection of Anakin's old master, Obi-Wan. For 15 years Vader has sought his son, the one thing that has remained out of his reach.
In that time Luke has trained as a Jedi Knight, mastering his Force abilities, knowing one day that he will come face to face with the man who once was his father.
Obi-Wan: Luke, you must remember that Anakin Skywalker was seduced by the Dark Side, the man he was, is no more.
Luke: It's never too late, my father will face the punishment for the crimes he has committed, but he is not beyond redemption...no one is beyond redemption.
Obi-Wan: Let's hope you are right Luke.
Okay so I decided to attempt to work in a scale that is more affordable, and with plentiful pieces ripe for the taking, so I have embarked on a mission into the 3 3/4 inch scale. Plus, the Star Wars line is that scale, so that kind of helps out.
I've not given up on my 6 inch scale universe, but I figure it's never too late to try something new. As such I'm essentially creating two very different histories for two very different universes (the previous and future 6 inch line has their own story, whereas the 3 3/4 inch line have their own "What if..." history).
So this figure was very much inspired visually by Asch's phenomenal Luke Skywalker. It's made of a Captain America figure (from the Universe line) and the Vintage Luke Skywalker, with a little paint, and my first real usage of dry-bushing an entire figure. I'm actually really proud of how this one came out.
