Okay so this is my first custom I've completed, with everyone clamoring for either Lizard or Carnage in Spider-Man 4 I decided I'd get over my ratpacking ways and sacrifice one of my all time favorite figures to make a customer Spider-Man 3 5 inch style Carnage figure using an old Spider-Man: Animated Series Carnage figure, a twist tie, and a lot of enamel and acrylics and gloss. I even customized a couple of his removable snap on weapons. I did a solid black/Purple metallic flake air brushed base over the entire figure (as the black paint done for the original figure's wash was wearing off and wanted to start fresh), then did some heavy dry brushing of acrylic gloss red, and then did more heavy dry brushing of a lighter silverized version of the black/purple metallic flake but sans the metallic flake. Overall the flash is very harsh for some reason and thus somehow punches through a layer of the airbrushing showing more red than I originally intended.
Yeah a lot of paint coats cover this sucker.
