Completed sculpted the entire surface of this figure. It's taken MONTHS and MONTHS!!! I still have to go back and repaint the spider on the back of the costume, but overall, I'd say it matches the movie costume pretty well. When I first started on this, I wasn't a big fan of the new suit, but it's grown on me alot. I especially dig the red AND blue gloves. So yeah, it's basically a total resculpt. Every single "square" on the red part has at least 9 pin dots to match the real suit. This was also done on the mask. I can't tell you how many hours the simplest of details took because it's just SO extensive. Well...Thanks for looking!

WOW! I love the detail on the suit, that would of frustrated me like crazy. You did an amazing job on this Spider-Man, I don't see it being topped.

I'm not much of a fan of any kind of permanent change from the classic cosutmes of any characters, but they come and they go. I can really appreciate the blood, sweat and pinpricks you have put into this custom! It really is a labor of love when you do this and I just don't know how you can set a value upon it. To me it would be priceless. I look forward to the new movie. I had no idea they changed his name to Andrew Garfield, though. I guess if this isn't the real SPIDEY then a different costume makes sense

Thanks Freddie...Andrew Garfield is the name of the actor playing Peter Parker inthe new movie. If you were joking, then my bad. Didn't see any smileys.
I have no idea what value anybody will put on it. Guess we'll find out next week. Thanks again for your comments on this and the other recent figures I posted. Always a fan of your work and your unique painting style which is totally your own!

HA! No, I wasn't joking at all. I didn't know the actor's name was Andrew Garfield. I thought maybe that was the new Spider-Man's name or something and they gave him a different costume. I don't hate the new costume, it will probably grow on me as they all eventually do, but I just like the classics more. It took me awhile to get over the fact that Starbuck was a woman on the new Battlestar Galactica and Col. Ty was white, Boomer was a CYLON...etc, etc.

I was unsure if the costume at first too and now I love it,and just like your supes movie custom this one rocks,I think its better even! great ammount of detail,I wish they released pics of the lizard(full view) so you could tackle that too!
