So I took alittle inspiration from Customs by Z and went to town. Started off with a ROTF Optimus as the base and use a ROTF Megatron to donate alot of parts, some custom hands by fakebuster over at shapeways and then a random mix of parts around the scrounge bin to complete him. He the following articulation:

Ball joint Head
Ball joint waist
180 swivel biceps
360 ratcheting shoulders
normal range elbow
180 ratcheting hips
normal range knees
ball joint ankles
balljoint wrists
individual articulated fingers with knuckle articulation as well.
