Thanks! He did ultimately get a cape in the end. Not the fabric we wanted, but still kinda neat, I felt.

This is cool - nice work dude! I really like how you used magnets to switch the heads out - I've been meaning to try this out myself so this custom has inspired me to try something new! Thanks!

I don't use the magnet tricks often enough, but I do enjoy using them when I do. I've got a Deadpool waiting on some magnetic treatments right now...

Thanks man! I'm pleased the transplants took as well as they did without losing the articulation. That was my biggest fear for him.

Would you mind telling me which Spawn figure the parts are from?
BotCustoms - Tuesday, November 22, 2011
a 1997 Spawn figure. Not 100 % sure which one.
timone317 - Tuesday, November 22, 2011
Really? I was under the impression that this design wasn't used until Spawn was included in Soul Calibur 2 back in 2002 so I figured it would be from a figure released around then. I'd really like to find one for myself so I can finish my own Spawn custom.

Really, really. The date stamped on the bottom of the foot is where I got my info from. A search on Google turned up 2 VERY similar figures, both called Spawn 3, though neither had the hamburger head like mine had.
timone317 - Tuesday, November 22, 2011
I see...well that's still more info than I had, thanks a lot.

Thanks, man! I am not personally a huge Spawn fan, but I used to like the concept of Spawn a lot before I started disliking McFarlane. But that's another story.

Dude this came out awesome.
BotCustoms - Monday, November 21, 2011
Thanks! It was kind of simple in terms of the normal kind of work I do on a figure, but it was SUCH a shock at how much time it took to do all of the sanding and drilling and such.
