Airgam (est. 1976) is a toy company in Spain that produced Playmobil-esque action figures called the Airgam Boys. In 1985 they released a superhero/villain line called "Airgam Comics: Superstars," which included two teams: The Super Fantastics and The Super Diabolics. It's a shame these were never released in the U.S. because they are killer!
The Super Fantastics had hilarious looking knock off versions of Capt. America (Stars Man), Batman (Bird Man), Spider-Man (Red Masker), Cyclops (Capt. Laser), and some kind of Wolverine/Hawkeye mash-up(Panther Man). The Super Diabolics were so awesome looking that I was inspired to do customs of a couple of them. Eventually I may even get around to doing the whole team.
This is Dr. Diabolic, whom I'm assuming is the leader of The Super Diabolics! He is a Jakks WWE Killer Kowalski re-sculpted and re-painted. The cape is from a Toycom Space Ghost and the collar is from a ML Mister Sinister. The gun is from a Playmates Toxic Crusader Radiation Ranger.
