So I have been quite busy lately, but I decided to throw this figure together. After putting the figure together I just felt that it needed a box for display. So I put together the custom box. It’s a real box; I created using Adobe Illustrator, all of the images printed with a High Res printer. I think the box really adds something. Funny Story I made like three smaller versions of the box in the beginning just to make sure that it went together perfectly and was sturdy.
The Figure itself is a stone cold Steve Austin figure. I clipped the bottom of the jeans, re-sculpted the rolled up bottoms, and repainted the jeans a more comic blue jean color. I sculpted the bottom and top of the t-shirt, sanded down and painted. Cape is from a dc direct first appearance Superman figure (Irony!) Head is from a dc direct secret identity superman. The figure does retain almost all of the original points of articulation except for the hip swivel. I had to sacrifice it to sculpt a comic accurate edge of the shirt. The S was designed from scratch using Adobe Illustrator and the Action Comics #1 cover as a guide. There is a basic stand that is in the box as well. Item number TBA
