Another custom based on Marvel Studio's movie. This time, arch enemy of Captain America, played by the talented Hugo Weaving,
I used Bullseye´s head. I applied epoxy and I cut his nose. So, I had to chose parts to assemble the body. I had imagined every parts on my mind which. But when I was mounting, I saw the figure was 1.5 cm higher than the Captain. Unfortunately I had to replace Magneto's boots by the Punisher ML, to keep scale.
Another problem was Magneto´s arm have no double articulation. So I switched to ML Longshot. I had to make some extra cuts in arm, to not looks like too big, as gorilla. So, I modeled sleeves and arms´s details in epoxi.
But, biggest challenge was the coat. There aren't nothing, even close, in any figure of 6" that I could use. So I decided to make my own version. I had done a coat before, for Pyro X3 , but had used colored glue, and it was water soluble, even with sealer. I had to think of another solution. One night, came a idea to use rubber blanket. And so I did. Unfortunately, I chose a coat with a lot of details to test new technique. But, in fact, I like final result. More yet because it was the first time I have used. The coat is very flexible and allow more movements for joints than the originals coats.
So, I made buttons and belt's buckle, with the symbol of the Hydra, with epoxy, and I pasted them on coat. I used vinyl paints and dry brush technique in the head, neck and buckle.
Comments, criticisms and suggestions are always welcome. Please let me know your opinions. If possible, visit my other customs and comment on them as well. Thank you.
