This was my gift for Fwoosh’s 2011 custom Secret Santa. The base body is an All Star Superman. The head is the original Superman head with sculpted hair and beard, and a visor made from Apoxie and clear plastic. The little spikes on the back of his neck are from a DCUC Batman's wrists. The cape is also the original Superman cape, with the right third removed. The epaulette on the right shoulder is made from thin plastic and Apoxie. At one end, I folded a portion of the plastic around a small nail to create a hinge, then sculpted the nail into the lower neck. When the right arm is raised, the epaulette flips up.

In order to keep some form of wrist articulation, I replaced the original wrists with ones from a Marvel Legends Quicksilver. I cut off the Quicksilver wrist just above the wrist swivel, then glued them to Superman's forearms just under the elbow. This allowed me to sculpt the oven mitt and jai alai glove and still have wrist swivels. The oven mitt itself was sculpted, and the steam is from an Marvel Legends Iron Fist energy accessory. For the jai alai glove, I cut and folded a piece of aluminum flashing into the shape I wanted, then sculpted over that with Apoxie.

The pot leaf belt buckle, blackberry, sock suspenders, socks, and shoe tassels were all sculpted. The fishnet stockings are doll fishnets. They are glued to the legs at the top and bottom. The legs retain all their original articulation.
