First completed custom! Yet another Absorbing Man for the board, I actually had him all laid out and in progress before noticing how many other amazing versions people have contributed that put this one to shame. One of my favorite villains, perhaps because he ironically brings back fond memories from my childhood of pouring over "Journey into Mystery" and other classics at a local farm market comics dealer. Hasbro wasn't very inventive with the look they could've given this figure with the major boost to the character's powers in recent years. A full repaint with several metallic and "masonry" tone undercoats and some brush highlights of each stone color juxtaposed to one of the others. I was really happy with the way the "brick and mortar" effect turned out so I decided to include a closeup of the legs.
