From SNK's Samurai Shodown/Spirits series, it's Galford's faithful canine companion, Poppy! Ol' Popster here is a great asset to Galford in battle, as she accompanied him during his ninja training. She's also a mother of three! In Samurai Shodown 5 and the console version of 6, she was a playable character on her own as well.
Poppy's just a repainted Timber, Snake Eyes' wolf from G.I. Joe. The scars on her side are not only painted but also cut into her.
