First of all I have to thank Mattel for showing us a beautiful scythe (or staff) on promotional pictures from Nekron (BAF from Wave 20).I got so disappointed when I knew they wouldn't release that awesome accessory with one of the coolest figures from DCUC collection (in my opinion of course). Then I decided I had to built my own. This is not really a custom, but an accessory.
The handle is made from dark wood, the blade and the "head" of the scythe are sculpt from aluminium and the other details made from epoxi resin. In the end I painted everything...
I'm happy with the final result and I truly hope you guys like it too.

would you mind giving me the measurements of the roundness of the scythe, the inch where the scythe bends, the length of the blade, and the roundness of the lamp where the blade connects to the wooden part?

How hard would it be to make various colored Lantern constructs and then make molds of them. The original could be whatever you make it from but you would have to figure out a way of making the construct a clear colored material. Green Lantern constructs are around but other colored constructs are virtually impossible to find.

I don't think it's too hard to make new copies of them. Nowadays there are several kinds of resin, we just have to find out the better one to use, and of course, one type we can dye with different colors...
