TMNT( 80s Cartoon Style) Custom Action Figure

Custom #:36295
Name:TMNT( 80s Cartoon Style)
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Date Added:January 27, 2012
Base Figure:2003 tmnt
Height:5.00 inches
Here are the TMHT, sorry TMNT as the word NINJA was replaced with Hero over here back in the days, anyway,Having using the 3inch TMNT last time for the ghoulies, i decided to go retro with my 5 -inch turtles and give them that 80s classic cartoon look. I gave them a re-paint to try and match the show, a slight face re-sculpt, changed the belts using leather and i made a base using card, hot glue gun for the slime, and a lid for the sewer entrance and just scattered bits of random fodder everywhere then painted it.

These actually look pretty cool. I could never bring myself to do that to the 2003 figures but you've done some good work here.

yeah I know it was a gamble whether to do it this way or not, and I did give up after the first turtle attempt and put them aside, but afterwards I did eventually give it a shot.
