So I got the SMC Jack-O-Lantern in a trade and was disappointed in how he was in overall design. I also couldn't stand his spring loaded arm or the size of his pumpkins. Something had to be done! I got a hold of a Fearsome Foes Green Goblin and removed his legs and arms, then did the same to the Jack figure. While I had Jack apart I ripped his "guts" out (springs and such) and filled his cavity with a soft pvc type rubber/plastic. I rebuilt him with the new arms and legs, and since I filled him up his old spring arm actually feels exactly like a normal arm, they both move exactly the same and stay in any position I put them in. After that was done I primed and painted. Used Citadel paints, green, yellow, orange, black, purple, and white. The different shades of green are both the same green but for the body, hands, and feet I mixed with white and yellow into it. I then did a wash of black and purple. Finally I did a dry brush with a mixture of orange, yellow, and black to give it a faint glow (or attempt to) since his head is on fire. The pumpkin in his hand was from the Marvel Legends Green Goblin. All in all, this guy ended up being fun and it's making me want to make more Spidey villains. Which is really really funny since I have never been a fan of the comic but I find myself customizing characters from his world lol. Hope everyone enjoys and please give suggestions, comments, and of course praise! =D
just kidding about the praise but hey I'll take it hehehe
